It’s not everyday you get to write ska music - or at least are asked willingly to write ska - for a major brand. Besides a dose of 2nd wave we got to play with shimmering guitars, spring reverb, vibraphones and surf drums. We also handled all sound design and mix duties. Let’s just say the sounds of a vespa’s engine can be extremely nuanced, and after this project we firmly believe someone should make a compilation record of vespa engine sounds, because we’re fully hooked.
